ROCKPORT HAPPENINGS!

THANKS EVERYONE!

Our April 18th Spaghetti Dinner will raise approximately $1,330 for future outreach projects after all quarts have sold.  We provided 4 meals to our homebound, gave 10 complimentary meals for folks who use our take what you need cabinet, served 50 dine-in meals, 41 take-out meals and sold 60+ quarts, and all leftovers went to the Nehemiah Mission for a meal there.  Many thanks to our diners, servers, bakers & kitchen crew. Don't forget to stock up on quarts of sauce.

ROCKPORT MUSIC MINISTRY:
As we move to summer outdoor worship on May 24th, please consider signing up to do special music during worship while the choir is off.  Sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board. We share our ministry through music, "Tell the World."  In Service, Susan Shick, Director of Music /Organist cell,440-364-9672.

BOOK CLUB:

Join us on May 27th, 7:00pm in the church parlor, for book club.  “The Life Impossible” by Matt Haig is about a retired math teacher, Grace Winters, who inherits a house in Ibiza and discovers supernatural abilities after an encounter with a mysterious light in the ocean, leading her on a journey of self-discovery, healing from past grief, and learning to appreciate life again. Hope to see everyone on May 27th for food, fun, fellowship, and discussion.

RENOVATION COMMITTEE SEEKING IDEAS AND VOLUNTEERS:
It has been discussed at some Rockport committee meetings that our beloved church could use some updates and a handicapped bathroom.  Our Trustees are going to work on a plan for updating our parking lot....the first impression visitors get of our church.   The Renovation Committee will review items to update inside our church from the front doors, foyer, parlor, and more.  If you have ideas for this committee or would like to join this group, please drop a note to Sara in the office and let her know of your interests or comments.

DONUTS AND COFFEE HOUR:
Please consider hosting donuts and coffee before 9:30am worship and/or after worship coffee hour.  Fellowship is an important part of the life of the church and why not have food as well! Sign-up sheet is posted on the chapel hallway bulletin board.

TAKE-WHAT-YOU-NEED CABINET!
We’re asking for help in shopping for the cabinet! We have a small crew of people who take turns shopping for the cabinet every so often, and we’d love to have your help! We have a cabinet fund, and you do not have to spend your own money, unless you’re donating items. We have a list of item suggestions available, and if you’re interested, please call the office. Please make sure to turn in your receipts to the office to be reimbursed! Thank you.
