CONSECRATION SUNDAY/NEW MEMBERS AND 2024 PLEDGE UPDATE:
What a blessing it was to have 73 people in Worship on Consecration Sunday, November 19th where we enjoyed a wonderful worship and welcomed 7 new members! We welcomed Pam Brockett & Ken and Gail Linden by reaffirmation of faith, Molly Foulks joined us by letter of transfer from Albany UMC, Len & Juanita Pariano joined us by letter of transfer from Lakewood UMC, and Samantha Skutnik joined us an associate member.  Following worship we enjoyed a pancake breakfast with delicious food and fellowship in Wesley Hall.  Thank you Diana Leitch for organizing this wonderful event.

To date, we have received 51 pledges totaling $102,154.  Thank you to those who have already pledged. Your financial commitment to Rockport is greatly appreciated. You may still mail in your pledge card, email, or call the church with your pledge, or fill out a pledge card available in the narthex. Pledges help leadership set budgets and plan for next year. Please remember all money received goes toward operating budget, as well as, paying our apportionments!  Thank you

The Light of Hope Service recognizes the loss and loneliness that can be felt during the holidays due to death, disease, poverty or abuse or other grief issues. It is a service that specifically enables individuals to experience their grief, as well as express what they are felling, so they can find a sense of calm and hope during the holidays.

When one is found dead, and the other finds her son accused of the murder, the tense courtroom drama that unfolds shines light on the true cost of secrets kept for love.” Hope to see everyone on Nov. 27th for food, fun, fellowship and discussion.
