ROCKPORT HAPPENINGS!

MILITARY BOXES:

We will be packing Rockport military boxes on Sunday, November 12th after the 10am worship service.  Please stop in room 22/meeting room following worship to help with this very important ministry of Rockport.  Also, if anyone has names of family, friends, or loved ones serving our country, please let Jeff Zullo know.

PLEASE JOIN US NEXT SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19TH
after our 10am worship service for homemade buttermilk pancakes (Gluten free also available), sausage, eggs and fruit in Wesley Hall.  There is no charge because we are celebrating our stewardship commitment and our new members officially joining our Rockport family of faith!  God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

DON’T FORGET YOUR PLEDGE!
As we approach the end of the year, don’t forget your commitment to Rockport. If you are unsure of where you are with your pledge, please call the church office. Also, your advanced pledge for 2024 helps leadership set budgets and plan for next year. Please remember all money received goes toward operating budget, as well as, paying our apportionments!  Thank you, The Finance Committee

THANKS EVERYONE!

Our November 4th, 2023 Spaghetti Dinner raised approximately $1,700 for Outreach missions.  Many thanks to our diners, servers, bakers & kitchen crew. We served 157 meals, dine-in and take out combined, and sold 73 quarts. Don't forget to stock up on quarts of sauce, $10/each and 4 meatballs in sauce and 7 meatballs for $12/each. Look for the next Spaghetti dinner sometime in February.

For all the saints, who from their labors rest.
Who thee by faith before the world confessed.
Thy name, O Jesus, be forever blest.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

O blest communion, fellowship divine!
We feebly struggle, they in glory shine.
Yet all are one in thee, for all are Thine.
Alleluia, Alleluia!

When one is found dead, and the other finds her son accused of the murder, the tense courtroom drama that unfolds shines light on the true cost of secrets kept for love.” Hope to see everyone on Nov. 27th for food, fun, fellowship and discussion.

MISSION POSSIBLE!

THE YOUTH & Children will be collecting winter items for the Cabinet and also for different homeless groups this year. Hats, Scarves, Gloves, cans of SOUP or ready to eat canned goods with the pull tops (for example: ravioli or hearty soups) hand warmers - the small kind you squeeze with your hands to activate, inexpensive blankets that can be worn easily (may be gently used, they do not have to be brand new) and small sized toiletries (the youth group make homeless kits to put into the cabinet and also distribute)
·       We will still be collecting our “normal” items for the cabinet as well!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
