Bring a side dish or a dessert.  Come and enjoy this special time together and learn about how the 103rd OVI helped the Union win the Civil War.  You can go directly to the Leitch’s cottage or come to the church at 5:30 pm and carpool to the museum. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME TO THIS FUN CHURCH EVENT.
(The 103rd O.V.I. of Sheffield Lake celebrates the lives and service of Cuyahoga, Lorain, and Medina County soldiers serving the 103rd regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War.  It is the oldest Civil War organization composed of direct descendants that continues to meet on an annual basis.  It is organized to perpetuate the deeds and services of the men who bravely served the 103rd.)

BOOK CLUB:
Our next book discussion will be on Monday, July 24th @ 7:00pm on the church patio.  The book we will be reading is “The Wedding Veil” by Kristy Woodson Harvey. This is a lovely, heartfelt novel about four woman connected by the Wedding Veil, a family heirloom.  Going back and forth between present day, and 100 years before this really is such a great historical fiction book, with all the southern charm. Hope to see everyone on July 24th for fun, fellowship and discussion.

ALPHA BIBLE STUDY:
Consider joining us for Alpha Bible Study, Wednesdays, from 6 -7:30 pm thru July 19th. The format of Alpha is that there is a dinner served, short devotion time, view a video on the scripture, and then small group discussion.  Thanks be to God and thank you to everyone for your prayers and help and food! We had 28 people on Wed. for Alpha. Currently asking for prayers and any ideas for the next step / program to do after Alpha is over on July 19. If you have not attended, please plan to attend when you are available.
