MEN'S GROUP

The Rockport Men’s Group will have a Rockport Men’s Group Restart Picnic
on Wednesday, June 23rd at 6:30 pm at the church.

We will have a great meal and time for face-to-face (not too close) fellowship
and discussions. Bring some picnic food;
we will provide hotdogs and hamburgers.

Let Bill Eyman know if you are coming
so we can have enough hotdogs and hamburgers.

WORSHIP RECOMMENDATIONS!

The Reopening Committee met and discussed new guidelines based on the most recent CDC and State Covid recommendations and statistics Here are are recommendations - 

OUTDOOR WORSHIP - All are invited to worship!

  • Fully vaccinated people may go without a mask

  • Unvaccinated people are requested to continue wearing a mask and socially distance with others except with family members.,

  • All are asked to wear a mask when in the building when entering, exiting and using the restroom.

INDOOR WORSHIP when there is inclement weather -

  • All, both vaccinated and unvaccinated are asked to wear a mask whenever they are inside the building, including worship.

  • Families may sit together and all others are asked to socially distance themselves from everyone else.

SMALL GROUPS THAT MEET OUTSIDE -

  • Fully vaccinated people may go without  a mask

  • Unvaccinated people are asked to wear a mask and socially distance themselves from everyone  else.

PARKING LOT SERVICE -

We are working out the kinks and will let you know when we are up and running in the near future!

SUMMER PLANS & MISSION STUFF!
PLEASE BE WATCHING Children and Youth Updates & Emails for Summer plans! We will be adding dates ALL SUMMER as things become available! Don’t worry, next summer I will go back to having the schedule alllll out at a crazy early time haha but I am happy to be able to meet together! So we will add as we go!
 
Date ONE:Mission Planning and Hanging out! JUNE 30th from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Backyard.
Date TWO: YAC recording Hang out, To Be Determined Soon!
 
ALL HANDS ON DECK!
WE NEED volunteers for our ONE DAY VBS towards the end of the summer. Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering in some capacity! As soon as a date is planned, we will get it out to you!

*Masks indoors for now, and outdoors for those not vaccinated. We will be socially distancing still right now. Every couple weeks the Reopening team is reassessing policy. If any policy changes happen before the date we meet for things, I will let you know!

BOOK CLUB 

Please join us on Monday, June 21st at 7pm outside on the church patio.  Masks and social distancing are required.  We will be discussing the book "The Four Winds" by Kristin Hannah. "The Four Winds  is an outstanding historical saga sparking memories of the classic John Steinbeck story, Grapes of Wrath.  Based during the great depression, the hardships and demise of small farmers and the migration of people from the Dust Bowl states in America to the land of milk and honey-California. Hope to see you all on June 21st for fellowship and discussion!
