Book Club

BOOK CLUB:  Join us on March 4^th, 7:00pm in the church parlor, for book club.  “The Book Club for Troublesome Women” by Marie Bostwick follows four suburban housewives in 1960s Virginia, who form a book club after reading Betty Friedan’s “The Feminine Mystique”, discovering shared dissatisfaction with their seemingly perfect lives, and finding courage and friendship to pursue their suppressed dreams amidst societal changes, exploring themes of sisterhood, self-discovery, and women’s roles. Hope to see everyone on March 4^th for food, fun, fellowship, and discussion.
