ALPHA BIBLE STUDY:  Alpha began at the Holy Trinity Brompton Church in London England in 1977.  Millions of people worldwide have tried Alpha, and it has been translated into 112 different languages. Alpha is a great tool for introducing Jesus and the Church in a welcoming environment.  All of the materials used for Alpha are complimentary.Rockport Church will be hosting an Alpha Bible Study, starting Wednesday May 10 from 6 -730 pm for eleven weeks. The format of Alpha is that there is a dinner served, short devotion time, view a video on the scripture, and then small group discussion.  If Alpha is successful, it should be totally welcoming to a person that has never stepped foot in a church! Alpha is a great resource to bring people to Church and to Jesus!  There is a lot of prayer, work, and planning to make Alpha a success.  If you are interested in helping with Alpha, please plan to attend a 30-minute meeting after Church on Sunday March 26, a light lunch will be provided!  If you can’t attend but still want to help, please contact the church office.
