Joy to the World, turns 300 this year!?

Peaceful JOY!, and Incarnate JOY!
What is Advent?
Advent is a season that begins the church year. The word "advent" comes comes from the Latin word "adventus" meaning “coming” or “visit." The season begins four Sundays before Christmas and ends on Christmas Eve. This is when we celebrate with JOY! the birth...the coming of Jesus...God with us!
Even as we look back and celebrate the birth of Jesus in a humble stable in Bethlehem, we also look forward with anticipation and JOY the second advent of Christ as the fulfillment of all that was promised by his first coming.
